Bus Stop : Davenport Place

Just to let you know that the bus stop at the Davenport has been moved a short distance towards Alpraham so that the bus drivers can see the traffic when stopping and moving away from the bus stop. This is by Manor Fields, opposite North View and is a temporary arrangement until the building works have been completed.

Wardle Development Planning Application 18/2028

Dear Neighbour

A detailed planning application has been made for the new access road and landscaping at the site of the former Wardle Airfield. As you know, the new roundabout that will serve this development has already been built and the developer is now pushing forward to attract tenants and start building new sheds. This latest planning application (that can be found on this link) shows that there is no intention to screen the new industrial buildings from the A51, contrary to what was described at the original public consultation held at Barbridge. This will result in what is effectively an industrial corridor stretching from Wardle to the railway bridge at the edge of Calveley Village, changing the nature of this rural part of Cheshire for ever.

Can you pleast take a few moments to look at the application and my objection and if you agree, place your own objection on Cheshire East's Planning Portal (my objection can be seen by following this link
